I've always found working with KC signing to be a good experience.
Something obviously went wrong but without proof it's hard to say who was at fault. They have always seemed like good people so I wouldn't count them out.

I have also had issues when downloading docs from a website. Sometimes you have to use the back arrow instead of closing each file or it closes all the files. Its easy to miss a file this way. I can't remember if KC's site does this, but after getting caught short once I now print the screen showing all of the files before I start opening them. This way I not only have a list of the files available at the time I printed them, that I keep for my records, but I can check off the files as they are printed so I don't miss any. I've learned over the years that the burden of proof is on us so document document document.

I have worked with KC Signing for the last several years and they are one of my favorite companies to work for. They have always paid quickly and are always available and helpful if you have any issues come up at the table. I am sorry that you had problems but I would implore you to try working with them again and see if your problem was an isolated fluke, which I truly beleive it was. Good Luck

I just got a call from KC Signing for a loan application. I went on their website and downloaded two files. One file was obviously a document file the other was an IMG file. I can't remember opening it but I do remember saying to myself this application is rather light with only 8 pages. Anyway they blamed me for not printing all of the documents and said I had to go out at my own cost to get the rest of the docs signed. The manager show me some files that confirm my downloading files and supposedly opening them or not. I not sure this is something I understand. Can't any of this computer stuff be altered after the fact like just by deleting a file. They deleted the IMG file that was in the download to me. I couldn't access it again and that is where we stand on this one. I don't know if they are that honest listening to the post by the previous notary regarding a missing check and no return phone calls.

In the past I have done a lot of signings with KC Signing but only a few lately. My experince has been only good. They are always responsive when I needed clearification and have paid well and on time. I agree the instructions are lengthy and sometimes confusing but they always are good to explain if there is a contradiction. As far as the fee removal for errors, you have to remember there are notaries do these closings for a cheap fee that don't have a clue what they are doing. These signing companies have to cover themselves when these notaries completely miss up the documents. I have never had my fees reduced even though I am human and have made mistakes but I always work with the companies to correct at no cost to them.

KC signings has owed me money for almost 2 months.
I call but they won't return a call.
I finally get hold of a manager and they tell me my check is lost in the mail so I'll have to wait for the check to expire (90 days) or I can pay to have them stop payment and send me another one.
Unacceptable to me !!!!!
Why should I have to pay for something they sent and got lost?
If a lender owed them money and the check was lost I'm sure they would have a different opinion.
I'll never work for them again.

I've have worked for KC Signings for the past 3 years and they are one of the best signing companies out there. If you have a problem at the table, someone is available 24-7 with after hours phone numbers and access to the title company to ensure it closes and the problem gets resolved on the spot. I'll work for them as long as they continue to stay in business.

KC is one of my easiest and most reliable customers. Yes, their introductory/instruction packet is intimidating...they really need to trim it down, to be honest. But I HAVE made occasional minor mistakes, and have never heard a thing from them. Also, they consistently pay within 30 days, and they pay pretty well. So don't be dissuaded by all the warnings--I would be happy if 100% of my closings went through them.

Wow just got called from KC Signing. Now I have to admit I have not worked for a SS in years because of all the troubles related to working with them. I work mainly for title companies now. As work is slow I accepted this job. When I opened their email with all their nickel and dime attempts to get their fee back I called and cancelled.
First they have 2 pages of what will cost me $20 for this $25 for that I have to pay for the Overnight service if an initial is missed. Granted I do my best at finding mistakes and have not made very many but to see this 2 page list of how they are going to keep from paying me was just too much.
They want you to report to them on their website, Thats ok but they also want you to call the LO and report the same info to them. I do not need all that trouble. I can see this may be cause for alarm as I fear I may have a hard time getting paid.
I see a few here said they were good to work for but all the posts are years old.
Just a heads up to others. I am not saying they are trouble but it sure scared me after looking at their confirmation. They spent too much time and effort telling me why they will keep my fees. Red flag, you bet.

I've done work for KC Signing for several months. I have had really good experience with them. Their new website is state-of-the-art-- Notary logon for picking up docs & completion reports. It is the best system out there that I know of. They are also prompt with payments. They are on my "A" list. M. Wells
