I did a signing for them on June 26th. I sent them all the docs and the three checks from the signing. They had provided a FED-X label. I received the whole package back yesterday. I have E-mailed them and called both notary logix and mellennium law center. their phones are not in service. I call the client and left a message. I beleive thes people are running some type of scam. I'm not sure what or how they think they can profit from this. I would warn any and all notaries to stay away from these crooks. You will never be paid so only do work for them if you like losing money.IMHO

I tried to e-mail and call - no answer. I also contacted the signers (who told me they could not get in touch with anyone either) to let them know they might want to put stop payments on their checks, too.
I've worked for many signing companies over the years and have to say that this was the worst ever.
Always use THEIR name and address as BOTH the sender and the receiver on a FedEx label. If you "don't exist" on the label, there is no way you can be charged.

Hi, I am new with this forum. I wish I had known about this earlier. Yes I was scammed by the Millennium Law Center. They took me for 2,500 dollars and two pre dated checks for 1850 each. I lost the 2500 but I was able to close my bank accout for the other checks. I had a notary come to my house to have paperwork notarized and receive the checks. I wish the notary had a heads up on this scam. I did report this to the attorney Generals office and the Federal Trade Commission. I did check with the better business bureau. They said it was an a rating. I also notified bbb and they said it is up to me to correct any issues with Millennium Law Center. I said that I cant they dont respond. Does anyone else have any information that would be helpful to me. I Just dont want to see another person hurt Thank You [/quote]

Just an FYI was called by a fellow notary who stated that the FTC has Seized the property and assets of multiple names including Millennium Law Group on June 19th -July 1. I have had the signers calling me for the last week and I gave them Notary Logix number....same issue. Now that number is "having business issues". My source also said that Notary Logix was connected to Millennium Law Group. So I'm out my fee and the clients are out their money as well.

I also did a signing for Notary logix /Mellinium Law Center on June 25th, which include picking up three post dated checks. I never recieved a label or fed ex number for returning the docs. It has been about three weeks and no label and not answering their phone any longer.I think Wally is right they may have gone out of business

Beware of any dealing with MILLENNIUM LAW CENTER and NOTARY LOGIX. I conducted a signing for a Mtg restructure on 28 June and was told to invoice Notary Logix for the fee. The docs were sent but no FedEx prepaid label or FedEx account# was included with them. I have attempted to call all of their listed numbers as well as e-mail with no results. I believe this outfit may have went out of business or is a scam. I am going to return to the client the filled out application as well as 3 post dated checks that Millennium requested in the amounts of |
