TRG just called me today for a closing - I didn't accept because I was already booked. So yes they are still in business.

Hi BigLar,

I'm in PA so I'm 3 hrs ahead of you: just responding to the latest batch of email.

TRG may or may not be in business. Convenient Closings answers the phone number listed on their website (856-914-8500 - I just tried). Who knows with Signing Companies (aka SC). I will no longer do business w/Signing Co.'s unless they pay upfront w/major Debit or Credit Card (see squareup.com to get set up). Now granted, someone at the SC would have to use their card for payment but if they are desperate and can't find anybody else, they will. It sure does sound like the old owner may have possibly sold the biz - don't know for sure.

To get your money, call the Underwriter listed for that closing - hope you remember. The underwriter doesn't want to get calls about on of their Title Companies Signing Companies and Title doesn't want you calling either. The underwriter is their bread and butter.

Until Notaries unite as a whole or until enough of us just say no unless they give a credit/bankcard number or electronic invoice them, it will be business as usual, with the Notary getting the short end of the stick.

Really? I would give them a call. Try 888*485*3438 and ask for accounting.

I work for them all the time and they always pay within 30 days. I'm very happy with TRG's service and they always have good clean documents and good communication.

Good luck, let us know how it goes.

I did a signing for TRG (Title Resource Group over 3 months ago on October 14th 2010. I still have not been paid. They do not return emails or phone calls regarding payment to me. Are they still in business?
