I've worked for them a couple of times. I didn't get paid until they needed me to do another job for them. Said I couldn't because I hadn't been paid for previous job. They agreed to pay me through Paypal. As soon as I got my money, I suddenly was not available to do the next assignment. Now when they call, I'm never available. I put their number on a do not answer ring tone!

I too am owed money from this company since January 25. Never get a response when I send invoices and can't get anything but a recording when I call them. DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY.
Any help getting in touch with them would be appreciated. Any info on what email address to send invoice would be helpful as well. |

Contact the title company to confirm the file closed, then ask for their assistance in getting Notary Biz to pay you. |

Wished I had known this earlier. I did a job for The Notary Biz and it's been over 30 days. Still haven't gotten paid. Does anyone have a solution as to how I can get my money from them. Sent emails to them but no response. I did six jobs for them and haven't gotten paid for any. Did job since September 2011.. Thank you, because I want my money. I used my time and gas to to out and do these signings, arrived to the signings on time, return the documents on time. I did my part, now I want to be compensated. The last email I sent to Eric he said he was putting the check in the mail that same day, and that's been almost two weeks ago.

I "accidentally" did a job for them in May. They called to ask me to have a deed registered at a time I was unavailable. I said no but got the docs by overnite two days later. Trying to be nice (and since it was a different day) I took the deed to the county, paid a fee and left the deed for registration. I contacted Notary Biz, informed them of their mistake and my subsequent actions and was told I would be paid $50. That was on May 5th. Since then I have called them twice about non-payment. The last time I was told I was being "nasty" by asking to get paid and was hung up on (yesterday). The person's name was Liz. I would NEVER work for Notary Biz and I regret that I felt forced to do so this time.

I am also owed for a signing that was completed in March. I spoke w/ Amber in June and she assured me that my check would go out in the "next batch"! That obviously didn't happen! I finally was able to talk to someone again in July, Eric, who told me they had no money and who knows when I'll get paid. He also said that they are still running the business and the Notaries still working for them in the areas they really need them are getting paid. I guess that must be the case because I don't see many complaints. It's too bad that they can't pay the ones who in good faith took jobs from them! They have called me for a couple of jobs but I have declined. I am apparently on the "do not pay" list!!! Be forewarned that you may be on that list too so I'd think about taking a job from them before you say yes! |

It's been six months, multiple phone calls, demand letters, and empty promises here. Do make notes to yourself when warned about companies on this board or any other so you can decide whether the risk is worth it.

The Notary Biz owes for a signing completed almost 40 days ago. I sent an e-mail to Liz Hueg asking about payment and said failure to pay could result in a small claims action against her in court. Her response was as follows: "It actually will be The Notary Biz LLC". "Go ahead"! "I am owed over $100,000.00 and am paying as fast as I can". "Have business loans, personal loans, and have laid off most of my staff so I can pay faster". "Doing everything I can to do the right thing by everyone". "The threat just makes me sick that I am working so hard, when most others would have just filed bankruptcy and given up". In my opinion she is doing nothing more than 'stealing' from the NSA because she knows from the time she calls & sends the confirmation she has no plans, whatsoever, to pay the NSA. She just wants the fee she gets from the title company to help with her financial problems and could care less about the notary public. It seems, to me, more and more signing services, with financial problems, are using very deceptive methods to acquire the services of signing agents for their own financial gain. |
