I'm very leery of SSs whose offer is a fraction of my fee. If they are hesitant about agreeing to my fee, doesn't seem likely that they'd truly honor the agreement. They may be in a bind and would say anything just to get the job done, then I'd have to chase them down for my money. For the liability, responsibility and risk I'm taking...$45 is not just unacceptable, but an insult.

I noted that Equifax is on the list of good companies. That is a relief since I just accepted a job with them. Was a little amused by them, however. After I quoted them my price for e-docs at a closing 60 miles from my house, he told me he would have to get back with me.He sounded quite hesitant about my price. Turns out we then had a time conflict. After a couple of calls back and forth we worked out the time and he agreed to my price. When I received their sign up package, their form letter states that they pay $45.00 for a signing. I think this did not include e-docs. But regardless, no wonder he was a little hesitant. Again, are there really people working for that fee?

Business: 800.542.4113
Fax: 916.782.0912

Love working with these people - pay fair and within a couple weeks of signing - organized, clean packages - not huge. I hear they were the former All Reverse Title ... great company.
