No, nothing new. The last time I tried to call, I got a different company. They said they transferred their phone number to them. When I asked about AA Notary, they were very vague and said they were next door or something and they would give them a message to call me. I told them that was a joke - they would never return my call. I think I will try a collection agency for all the good it will do.
You might try to contact the title company that was served and ask if they'll intervene for you - as some notaries have indicated they were paid following that as a part of your collection method.
As the address provided is the same as Closing Quest (25 Century Blvd, Suite 405, Nashville) it is not surprising that the excuses for non-payment would sound familiar to you. Good luck with your efforts.
Has anyone had any recent contact with this company? They owe me money from May and I think they may be out of business. I don't seem to be able to contact them anymore.
What is their connection to Closing Quest? It is interesting in looking back at this forum that Closing Quest is using the excuse of Title Companies going broke and owing them money. That is exactly the same excuse I am getting from AA.
Has anyone had any experience with this company? I think they may be fairly new and quite small. When they called me for a signing, they seemed sincere and willing to negotiate with me for a signing quite a distance away. The signing took place on 6/29 and I have not been paid. They are very apologetic saying that the title company they were working with has closed and not paid them so they haven't been able to pay all of the notaries. They claim that they are trying to pay each notary as they have money coming in. Any others have this experience?
