I've been doing this for 10 years and was told long ago by the person who started me with my signing career... Never, ever work for a document signing company. Granted they must be a few trust worthy signing companies out there. However the majority seem to earn a living of hard working notary's backs.

I was contacted by Heritage Signing Agency to cover a signing for them for the agreed fee of $150. Signing was completed without problem. Forty-five days later I had not heard from Heritage Signing Agency. Called asking about payment and was told that there were errors with documents and that I would not receive payment. Called title company and determined that they did not have problem with documents other than my signing an additional acknowledgement to cover a deed. Second communication with Heritage and was told that check was in mail. Ten days later and still no check. Third communication asking about check and was asked to verify mailing address that was on invoices. Six days later and fourth communication sent in the form of a final letter before collections. Received a check for $125 from Donnie Goode with note that "we never pay more than $125 so I don't know where you come up with $150."
Heritage Signing Agency is on my no-go company list.
