Just for fun, I pulled up this website. Two companies I worked for at listed here, long gone by the wayside, Elite Signings in Illinois, and Docuservusa. Both were notariously sad at paying their notaries.

BUT, what does amaze me that with all the nonpaying companies out there, not one of these has been reported to ripoffreport.com since October 2012.

How come? It makes absolutely no sense to cry, whine and*****about not getting paid on this board. Why not be proactive and report the companies who are not paying their notaries. I wouldn't waste a nanosecond trying to collect from these companies, go directly to title/escrow for whom they are the monkey in the middle. They are ultimately responsible to pay the notary and are the insured and responsible company to pay.

Good luck. I haven't been stiffed in five years, because I have a plan for successfully getting paid 100% of the time. In fact, two companies I've worked for sent me performance bonuses for stellar service. These are the kinds of companies you should all be working for, not these low paying, slow paying, non paying companies.

Here is my post from 2004 about Elite Signing in Cary, IL:

Elite Signing Services Inc. contracts Notaries Public throughout the United States to complete refinance loan document signings and does not pay agreed upon fees to their notaries. It would appear to me to minimally be a violation of banking/notary public law within the state they conduct business, a violation of banking law to the title/escrow company which hired them if there were no intention of paying the fee while charging the borrower for the fee. Additionally, there is a possibility of violation of federal laws regarding the interstate use of phones/faxes to contract banking business.

I am proceeding to file a judgment against Elite Signings and Mr. Barry and will hire a judgment collector in Cary, IL to stand at Mr. Barry's cash register for soonest payment since he lacks the integrity to pay me after numerous requests.
