!!!Never Again!!! They called be out of the clear blue for a signing on 6/25 and foolishly I accepted the assignment without investigating futher. Shortly after this I filled out paperwork to join their network upon their request. I finally made contact with someone maybe in India. At first the party on the line stated she could find no record. After providing more info to her she found it and stated that I would be paid around 8/20. We will see. I guess the next step will be the title co. that hired them

So, is this really a legitimate company? As notaries and responsible business people, we should be aware of inconsistencies in the market place. Our 'difficult English' dialects are a RED FLAG, as most all other signing/title companies are using 'clear English' representatives to handle the customer service aspect. Another RED FLAG is the amount of sensitive paperwork that is required by some companies. Once that flag goes up, our research should begin. Responding to these companies for work in a polite manner is admirable, but we must take preventive action up front, and move cautiously to protect ourselves and our businesses. I'm not making any excuses for the behavior of those calling. They are taking advantage of us and it must stop.

No one called.

Two days later, I get another call for a signing for the SAME borrower. I let them have it for the way I was treated previously.
The person with horrible English skills assured me this would not happen again.

Today, it happened again. No dox. No email.

I'm blessed I'm not desperate for work but this did cost me another assignment.

Recently we took our first assignment form ISGN and it went like this (with a heavy accented person on the other end of the phone):
"Yes hi, we did not receive our earned fee for the ***** assignment. Our fees are net thirty, and we expect the fee to be in our mail box on/or before the 30th day--no more."

"We are so very sorry. I will check with accounting and call you right back".

We never did get that call.

You understand how this went, until we sent them our 'recovery letter'.

Seven days later the check was in the mail box.

If they call us for another signing we'll probally take it, however, our fee will be one and one half times our regular fee. Why, because we know that we will get paid.

Received a call from them on Wednesday @ 4pm. for a job only 8 miles on Thursday @ 6p. I started emailing them around 9am on Thursday asking for the docs due to other commitments. The only email I received was a "DO NOT REPLY EMAIL", and in that email it gave me a direct email to send my request to. I sent emails to 3 different recipients. I tried calling phone number after phone number and extension after extension. Some extensions did not work at all and I was disconnected. I finally got a voice mail and left a message that if this is the way their company was being run that I was no longer interested in the job. If you couldn't get ahold of anyone for 4 hours before the signing what was going to happen during the signing. What a coincidence that after that message I received a call back immediately stating that the reason vendors were having problems was that they were re-doing their phone systems for the last 2 days and they had different numbers to call. I asked them if they were re-doing their email as well since no one was responding to them either. And, if they had different numbers why wasn't that brought to my attention during the initial phone call or email.
And yes they spoke very poor English.
Right after the scheduled appointment time I received a call from another company asking me to do the job, which I declined.

Consider yourself lucky. They used to be a good company a few years back.(I used them as filler work) Eventually, I started receiving calls from schedulers in India and by then they had lowered the edoc fee by $10 and slipped into slow paying cycle. It took me over 60 days to collect on the last one-and that was back in 2011.
