It seems they've decided to resurrect themselves? Guess the $$$ was too good for them to remain "out of business"...BEWARE.

Maybe MortgageDocs.com will be the next one to close. They sent out annoying emails for $60 jobs...

According to Notary Rotary postings, it's not just bankruptcy - they're out of business.

One of my Notaries in my other office just received a letter from them stating they were filing for bankruptcy.

Doing closing for Flex is a waste of time, they call and call and call if you accept a signing. I took one for them last month after I told them I can only do closing for $125.00 they agreed then sent over a confirmation for $70.00. Then I had to waste my time to call them to correct this error, then the package was sent 30 minutes before closing, even after they called to confirm I was on my way and they had not even sent over the package yet. Once the package was received and I saw that fleX was being $450.00 for a closing they low balled me at $70.00 and never sent the order over for $125.00 as they said they would. Then I called the borrower and they said "well I am not sure if I am going to sign anything but you can come anyway" I asked the borrower if she does not sign is she willing to pay me for my time, gas and tolls. I was told oh no I wont pay anything I do not even know if I want your loan. So I went and had dinner instead of driving 45 miles round trip wasting my time, money, gas , and tolls. When Flex called on the 4th time I answered and told the LO needs to close this loan or be there at closing. I also question why they are clearly getting $450.00 for a closing and they only want to pay $70.00 to signing agent. I could some argument/conversation in Farsi or Arabic in the background then I hung up. Waste of time, and this low ball closing will end up costing you money, you will lose money.

I signed up for this company a few months ago but then realized they only pay $60 for signings with mandatory fax backs for "new notaries". I have since deactivated my contract with them.

I do, however, show their site is still active...

Don't know if they are still in business, but their practices make it really difficult to work for them and I imagine they are having problems finding notaries who will put up with their nonsense for the fees they are willing to pay.

If you don't value your time and experience, nobody else will.

Anyone know what's up with Flex Signing out in CA. My sister did quite a few signing for them back in November and December and has yet to be paid and when she tries calling them, there's no answer also no reaponse via e-mail and to boot, they haven't listed any available closings anywhere in her area since the later part of December. ARe they still in business?
