POA signed documents:
"Minnie Mouse by Mickey Mouse, her attorney in fact".
1st runner up:
Trustee signed documents:
"Minnie Mouse as trustee for the Mickey Mouse And Pluto perpetual trust established to fund cartoon character retirement".
Add "honorable mention" to that all time (not notarized) favorite:
The (never ending) "Statement of Information" - which, per numerous borrowers REPEATS the information already submitted several times.

For me, the document that gives me the most grief is a Certification of Trust. Why? Because trusts are drawn by attorneys (typically) and given to their clients. When we arrive, usually with Loan Docs, the signer has no clue as to how to answer the questions posed within the cert. Also, it cannot be (Shouldn't be) notarized until it is complete. Since their attorney drew it up, average Joe is not knowledgeable about its content...it is almost always an ordeal.

The notaries on facebook said that powers of attorney can be slow. But, if a loan officer didn't prep the signers well, then a loan signing can be miserably slow.
What about your experience?

I used to have the NNA's form for Document Custodian Copy Certifications that had so much unnecessary info included. I presumed the NNA put that information in there for a good reason but the fact is it made no difference at all, that a Jurat would have sufficed. To think of all the work and time I put into that form over the years. People would bring in multiple copies and I had to fill out their address, the name of the copied document and my own notary statement among other things. I later called the NNA that just said that was a "suggested" verbiage on the form that it wasn't required by law. Foreign countries that sometimes request these copies expect a notary stamp on the actual copy so I found it's best to simply stamp the Jurat wording on the document with the stamp, voila!
The most time consuming problem is when there is an entire package of documents that have the incorrect notarial wording created in another state. I noted Wells Fargo's wording says "acknowledged, subscribed to and sworn" causing me to have to affix a Jurat certificate.
In any event, sometimes notarizations can be very time consuming and for me the hard part of that is when people grow impatient with the process or question why I have to cross out the notarial language and affix a certificate.
Sincerely yours,
