I had an appointment to day which was canceled. The signing company did call back and offer me the new appointment. Could not accommodate.

I believe if you have an appointment that is canceled you should be given an option to accept or decline the rescheduled appointment.

If you decline the second appointment they move onto another notary. If that appointment is canceled it should be the second notary that is given first option on that reschedule.

Believe this is fair. Even though my appointment was canceled could have taken other appointments At least I was given the option first on the reschedule.

@Linda while In your opinion neither notary has the absolute RIGHT to be called first. I do believe it is good business practice to offer the rescheduled appointment first to the Notary that just got canceled.

I don't think there is any correct answer here - neither notary has the absolute RIGHT to be called first IMO. That's business.

This is a great discussion question. Lots of fun to think about!

If a signing is postponed and the original notary cannot accomodate, but a 2nd notary is brought in, and then the signing is postponed once more, which notary should be called when the signing is finally "ready"?
