Why even take signings from them? Notaries are crazy to take refinance signings for $65.

Their fees are below (the first # is if they are edocs and the 2nd is if they are overnighted)

Equity (50 to 80 pages) $ 50.00 $ 40.00
Refinance (80 to 90 pages) $ 65.00 $ 55.00
Reverse $ 100.00 $ 90.00
Reverse – Pre Disclosure (application) $ 40.00 $ 30.00
Purchase $ 65.00 $ 65.00
REO Purchase (20 to 50 pages) $ 55.00 $ 45.00
Auto (15 T0 25 pages) $ 30.00 $ 20.00
Loan Modification (10 to 25 pages) $ 20.00 $ 15.00
Deed in Lieu (1 to 10 pages) $ 30.00 $ 25.00

I was sent an email today asking to sign up and complete their vendor package (which is 33 pages long). Way too much work for way too little pay.

Notaries please stand up and turn down ridiculously low priced jobs.

This is in addition to what I wrote regarding Mortgage Docs. I looked at the Website this morning and my Closing was gone from there. I called Mortgage Docs and I ask her why it was no longer on the WEbsite and she explained that there was a time change and she needed to up date it. I GUESS THAT IS WHEN THE FIRST LIE STARTED.
I checked my phone messages and SOMEBODY FROM THAT COMPANY HAD CALLED LATE LAST NIGHT TO TELL ME THAT AS OF 5PM YESTERDAY THAT THE CLOSING HAD BEEN CANCELLED. Isn't that amazing that they managed to keep the Notary out of the Loop by not telling me last night. Apparently someone from Mortgage Docs isn't keeping up with the Title Company or each other. One of the People at Mortgage Docs had taken it off of the Website because it was CANCELLED LAST NIGHT AND I NEVER RECEIVED THE NOTIFICATION UNTIL TODAY AT NOON. Just makes me sad that this Company doesn't treat me as a Notary better than that.

This company is relatively new for me. They wrote and ask on line if I would take this Closing In CArbondale and scueduled it on 9/25/2012. New Order Confirmation. You have to jump through hoops to get to their Web Site. I spent yesterday afternoon looking for Docs.
No Docs. It was scheduled for 9:30 AM today. I was sent a message late last night that the Title Company was still working on the HUD. Fine.
I was informed last night that since they couldn't get their ACT together that it would need to be pushed to 4:30 PM. It is now the day of the Closing--I keep checking the Web-site and having to call them. After I call at 12:00 PM today, (I have called three times) Mortgage Docs are now saying that this whole mess has been Cancelled. Sorry we didn't inform you.
So if you had a chance to do something else today, you can't do it, because you kept it open for a Company that can't be bothered to let the Notary know, that Oh Yes, its been cancelled and they don't really apologize for it either. If they should have to rexchedule , then we will call you. Really--and you think I am going to wait for that to happen.
