They sent me a very "scientific" analysis showing that notaries should charge between 10 and 15$ for receiving and printing edocs. That's when they went into my spam / cell block filters.

They generally paid 60 to no more than 90 days after the signing. You just need to keep enough cash on hand to cover your expenses while waiting for their check.

I found the documents too volumonous and time at the table with borrowers too long for my profit margin.

P.S. We also parted ways when I refused to FedEx extra acknowlegement and jurats because my CT notarizations performed in CT with CT residents for their CT real property refinance "did not meet quality control because they did not conform to California law." Reason: Because the lender is in California, you must use California-compliant notarization blocks. I figured if the QC department required that, it wasn't a QC department I wanted to deal with.

I just did one for them on 10/8/09 - my first since 2006 - this puppy was 264 pages!! One set!! Times two - 528 pages printed... duplicates, triplicates and quadruplicates of lots of the docs ... thankfully the borrowers weren't readers!!

And by the way - the confirmation clearly stated they pay 45-60 days out...now that's beyond what I normally accept but I'll run with this one but won't do any more for them til I'm paid.

And never again - wow - 264 pages...good grief!

I like them they don't pay a lot but they are revised mtg. Docs. and are about 20 pages. They might take 45 days to pay but I have never had a problem with them paying.

Stay away from Mortgage docs! I done a closing for them 9/3 for $ 80.00 and still haven't been paid! (Today is 10/18) When calling the say they pay 30 days but when I followed up 30 days then I was told they are 45-60 days out.

I had to send them a reminder at the 30 day mark - closings done 9/18 and 9/29 were paid on 11/30/06
