Sometimes they really are getting less. I know one company who was charging $90 per deal when things were good in 2004. I did a few quickies for them if it was close because they only paid $50. If you don't like the fees, then work for someone else.

When a company calls you and wants to do your appt for less because in order for them to get this new contract with their new title co client, they had to accept less, or because that title co pays less. BS. I congratulate them on getting the new contract but the $5. reduction can come out of THEIR side of the fee, not ours. The audacity. Dont fall for that 'making it up in volume' baloney either. THEY can make up the volume with all their orders. Why should we run ourselves crazy doing lots of cheap appts? While we are running around at a cut rate, you lose the opportunity to do appts for your normal rate.
