I've done a couple of signings for ND - they offer $60 - which is too low. I had to hassle with them to get a higher fee. Just like everyone said. ND called 10 times from the time I received the assignment and during the appointment. Have you called the client. What color ink are you using. Are you sitting with the client. Are you finished. Please call when you are finished. The second signing, I refused. Then a second person called for the same appointment and she seemed really nice and I gave in and said yes. The signing was taking place in an hour. It was 25 miles from my house and I still had to print docs. They called asking if I had left. They called during the signing. They called and called. Finally I told them I wouldn't be able to complete the signing if they kept calling. The final call I told them I was not interested in working for them. Today I receive a call about a signing in 1 1/2 hour they want to pay $25 because it was only an annuity - I told them $100 then accepted $50 because it was in my zip. After 3 phone calls in 15 minutes I told them I would no longer sign the loan and to please take me out of their system. It's a waste of my time to answer all their phone calls. The scheduler informed me that I would no longer be in their system. Thank goodness!

Obviously this company makes money. They are able to pay all these people to follow up on the signing appointments and annoy the notaries and not pay them what they are worth.
