They are what is known as an Inspection company. Their clients are credit bureau reporting agencies or related fields. They send out e-mails for the jobs and you have to be the first one to respond in order to get the job. As far as I know, there was no way to negotiate the fee for the job and the most I saw was $25.00. I only accepted jobs that were close to my home base. The job consisted of a three or four page "interview" of a person representing the company being investigated and taking three or four pictures. The report and pictures had to be uploaded to Complytraq's website, which, for me, meant a trip home to my office computer. They did pay promptly but I haven't worked with them for about three years, so I'm not familiar with what's happening currently.

I just got an email from them stating that my inspector registration was accepted (I didn't actually apply with their company but I did recently put up an advertisement on the SOFI website).

I believe they're an inspection/surveying company, not a signing company. I'm trying to find out more information about them but so far what I've found is circa 2008 and mixed. Seemed that up to then they paid on time and about $25 per photo survey, but started to be late on payments. They requested my SSN for a background check and I don't want to give it out until I determin they're a worth wild company to work for. I'll report anything else I find.

UPDATE: I found some more recent reviews (08/2011) on Notary Rotary. Sounds like they do pay but not much. Usually $15-$25. Also they seem to offer that amount even for long distance inspections. However, the two positive reviews stated that they stood their ground and refused to do inspections for less than $40. I guess it depends how desperate they are. I think I'll give them a shot and report back once I preform some work for them.

Also their website is http://www.complytraq.com/.
