I'm sorry that you don't realize the number of individuals searching the Internet in need of general notarizations -- or is your site not supposed to assist them in finding a notary for their needs?

Our reputation with our browsers is not enhanced by listing notaries who are not providing service. You really are sending mixed messages here and should take a closer look at how thoroughly you communicate instead of pointing the finger at others who are just trying their best to run a helpful business.

My profile states that I no longer perform loan signings. My voice message on my phone asks that all signing services and title copanies remove my name from their data base as I no longer perform loan signings. Neither message says that I no longer perform general notary services. Besides that, what right does 123notary have to make the decision to remove a *PAID* listing?

I answer all emails. I have been on a trip for the last 72 hours, so you need to give me a grace period to answer emails if I'm out of town. I must have been fooled by your answering machine which claimed that you were not doing signings. I interpreted that to mean that you were out of business -- My bad... Mixed signals -- (Your bad)! I will never jump to a conclusion again!

From now on, if someone claims that they are not doing signings anymore, I'll assume that they are still in business. I have learned my lesson.

Your listing is back online.

For future reference, if you don't want to confuse prospective clients, you should specify that you still do "regular" notary work, but that you no longer work with signing companies.

"Your 123Notary.com listing has been deleted due to the following reason: notary is no longer in business based on what we know."

After a number of years of performing loan signings, I made the choice, about two years, to focus on general notarizations and no longer perform loan signings. That certainly doesn't mean that I'm no longer in business. I have NEVER hid that fact that I no longer perform loan signings in any of my online profiles.

As for "no longer being in business based on what we know" -- my business is very much alive and active -- I have operated a business since 1992 -- registered and licensed, pay quarterly taxes as a business owner and file yearly taxes as a business. I have a business checking account, business cards, letterhead, website ... I have been, and continue to be, a commissioned notary in good standing since 1992.

Before being deleted earlier this week, my notary123.com listing was due for renewal in August. My profile was updated in May. Emails to Jeremy are being ignored and unanswered.
