I recently asked my favorite LSI scheduler about this. She said that the night crew sends the orders to the signing services. I told her I was glad to hear that because I cannot accept orders for the low fees offered by the signing services.

Yes. I have done numerous signings for them and they call me regularly, but I have noticed a couple of signings that were for LSI and came from a SS. I found it irritating, but wrote it off because it was infrequent. Then, this week alone I have had two. I find it very irritating. Never thought to call the company and complain. Did they say why they were using a SS now instead of calling direct?

Has anyone else noticed LSI using signing companies more instead of calling the notary directly? It sucks, more work less pay. I've closed over 65 loans for LSI starting in 2003 and don't like giving away part of my closing fee to a "middle man". I called LSI vendor services about a month ago to address this and they said they would call me directly which they did for about a month. Now it seems they are calling signing companies again.
