Well let me tell you all that I did 2 signing for her on the same day 6/18/2010 and she will not pay me! She has used every excuse you all mention on here and even, my Baby is sick I can't talk right now.............come on lady. You owe me $200 for signings I did for you and I have 23 years experience so it wasn't my work.

I went ahead and put in a complaint into the Board for the Notaries in the State of Florida and have told them ethics, honesty ect are what we stand for and she should have her license revoked.........so folks come on and join me and put in a complaint as you can do it on line. If we don't stop people like her we are going to keep getting our paychecks stuffed under the rug.

Oh as for the title company helping me.........no...they just said sorry we dont know what happened to her. WEll..........the state can find her!

I called the title company to find out if she was still doing closings with them. They stepped up to the plate and actually paid me what she owed me. I was so amazed at this I can't say enough praise for the title company.

The phone for Proficient Signings, Inc has been disconnected.

This company sceduled a closing, I went used my resources and then they never paid me.

I think notaries should have a better way to collect their money than small claims court.

If I could I would take Ms. Ruiz out behind the woodshed and show her a bit of the same justice she gave me.

I am so disappointed in Vicki. Completed two signings in late spring and have heard from her only three times regarding payment. I've emailed/called over 30 times. I've tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, but today the emails I sent were returned. I need that money for daycare!!! Would appreciate an explanation.

Well, it looks like Vicky's back to her old ways....Who are you going to blame now,Vicky?

"I always tried to assist you in the best way that I was able. What I stated to you was the case with 1 Touch.

However, now that I can say I handle signing payments and I handle collecting on payments should they be past 2 weeks, notaries working for Proficient are issued payment in a timely manner. If anyone is to blame for anything related to Proficient, it will be myself. All calls come directly to my cell anyone can reach me directly. I am sorry you had those experiences with 1 Touch, however and again, this is not a practice of Proficient".

Gee, it sure sounds like she's back to doing what she said she didn't do at 1 Touch....

The woman is a liar and a thief. Will email you over and over that payment went out today. Contacting the title company associated with the file does nothing either. Watch out - she will pop up with another business name and keep on stealing from the notaries.

Yes. She truly sucks. I did a closing for her back in March and have not been able to connect with her. Called again this morning and her vm is full. Go figure. I would appreciate it if she would just say she doesn't have the monies to pay out instead of her ignoring everyone's phone calls and emails. Way to go Vicki and way to ruin your reputation in the industry. Who do you blame now?

Vicky is definitely hiding from her notaries. A half dozen phone calls and emails have gone unreturned. I know the signs of a company in trouble and proficient is not paying

As someone replied to my statement regarding 1 Touch vs Proficent I am posting the same response here:

1 touch and proficient are two different companies...1 touch I would now not touch with a 10 foot pole. Proficient is a different story. Paid with check in my mailbox within 34 days. Hubby did one last month and I got an email this AM stating that check was going out today. As long a Vicki keeps up the current pay timetable I will accept signings from her anytime....Deborah

Just want to post that I did a signing on 12/30/08 and received my check on 2/3/09. Thumbs up in my book. HAVE to admit much better communication than previously with "the other company" not to be mentioned.

Linda,
If you would also look at the dates, I was Vice President for 6 months. Like I stated, I tried to turn it around as much as I had no authority when it came down to issuing payment. Handling scheduling and entering invoices, and cutting checks is all my portion of the job entailed. I am in agreement with you notaries will post postivitely or negatively but what I am in disagreement with is that you are not only posting the existence of my company you are advising them to beware when you yourself have not had an experience with Proficient. I would value my peers information as well however if your peers advise you one way or the other about Proficient and you should post I would completely understand. My understanding is they have not advised you one way or the other, considering my payment practices are in no way related to 1 Touch since I handle them directly and I sign the checks and send them out in a timely manner.

When someone is stating something that is negative toward a company that they have had no involvement with, especially my own, I think it deserves a response as well as a request for professionalism.

Vikki was always good to me and did what she stated. I got paid a little later than agreed on, but she communicated with me and I got paid.

That was one thing Vicky was really good at, laying the blame on someone else.I heard so many excuses from her whenever i called for payment: "Tommy's not in today and he writes the checks"," I don't think we got paid yet", "We pay 30 days after we get paid" and all of these excuses were followed with the phony standard SS line- "I'll check into it, and get back to you", which of course never happened.

I'm sure if Proficient is a good company, someone other than yourself will post about it, just as I'm sure they will if it's not -I also know that your reputation precedes you and I certainly do hope this venture is handled better than the last one was. I was simply advising my fellow notaries of the existence of your new company.

BTW, you didn't just "work for" 1 Touch - you were it's Vice President.

I had no experience with One Touch and have no experience with Proficient - only what I've heard from my peers, whose information I value highly..

Hi Linda,
I did part ways with 1 Touch Closings and opened my own company. I have been in business for a couple months now. My company's practices have nothing to do with 1 Touch Closings and I would appreciate if you would judge Proficient Signings if you have had experience with Proficient Signings and not judge Proficient Signings on a company that I previously worked for.

I have worked with many notaries over the past couple of months and I am sure they can agree.

Thank you for your professionalism.

Proficient Signings, Inc. in FL...avoid if you can - new company as of 10/23/2008, opened by none other than Vikki of 1 Touch Closings....

You can confirm the connection at www.sunbiz.org - research both companies.
