I just wanted to point out this is a big problem with RESPA signings. I don't know if most signing agents realize that these are high risk when it comes to receiving payment. The people who are signing these documents may never even be approved. IMHO it is in our best interest to require these documents to come to us overnighted with payment. If you think about it a lot of RESPA's require that you collect bank statements, paystubs, etc., which means the approval has been based on information that they received from the borrower with out seeing the documentation first hand. I'm not saying that borrowers are trying to deceive, but the example I would use is the borrower tells the LO they have $10,000 in their 401K, the LO uses the % allowed for that type of savings as their reserves, then they get the paperwork and they are only 50% vested, which means they only have 1/2 of that amount. This can make a huge difference and can cause the approval to fail immediately, which means no closing and no one gets a dime. It's not that the borrowers do it on purpose, they just don't know any better.

Don't get too comfortable with that address. I talked with Margo Wright just a few minutes ago, and she says they're closing that office TODAY. Their new address is:
999 Whitlock Ave., Suite 4
Marietta, Georgia 30064
770-423-0790

I will be doing my first closing for them tomorrow.

they are located in Pittsburgh, PA. Has anyone ever done anything for them? I searched this site prior to taking the job, but didn't find anything. I am getting a little nervous that they may not pay me for a job I did on the 25th of July.
