Well, this is interesting. . .I know the owner of this company and it is a large one. . .I'm sure he is unaware of payment problems because it is so large, but I will help anyone that has a serious problem in collecting there monies.

Just an update to let everyone know that I received my April payment from EFS last week. (Sorry, I'm a little late in updating.) So, it was about 60 days, which is still better than some! They may pay a little slow, but they sure pay well!

I have worked for them for a long time and have never had a problem until recently. I have an invoice form 4/17/07 which is still outstanding. Per a phone conversation with accounting of today, they state the check was sent on 6/20. Normally any signing done on any date in April is received the first week of June, so they seem to be about 2 weeks behind. Accounting stated it was due to a staffing shortage. I hope that is true and not that they are too slow to stay on top of payments. Again, they have always been more than fair to me so I hope this is just a fluke. Everyone one seems very slow and there is a lot of competition for title cos. to get banks business.

I'm still waiting on payment for a 4/25/07 closing. They are a little behind the 45 day mark in paying me on this one, but I'm not yet worried as they've always paid in the past. (I usually wait for the 60 day mark before starting to call on any of my outstanding invoices and have never had to call EFS to collect.)

We've been discussing these CW Full Spectrums in another forum and it was suggested that the title companies are not the ones requiring all the fax backs, but that it is each CW branch who specifies what needs to be faxed back. (If true, this would explain why there is such a wide range of fax/split requirements on each CW FS signing - for those of us who do them for multiple clients.)

Janet,

I feel your pain. I also had two files (on the same day as luck would have it) where there were issues with names/ID's (ethnic surnames where ID's/spellings didn't match...ugh!!)and really had to go round and round with them.... The standard line I get from them on payment is that their invoices are set to pay 45 days after the sign date.... They owe me a big fatty check.....when it shows up, it'll be like Christmas!!!

good luck with yours.........

Anyone else having problems being paid by these folks? I am owed money over 60 days now and they are really too demanding to be this late paying. They have split packages, copies for those splits and pages upon pages of fax backs. Additionally, they have lists of what notaries can do incorrectly and amounts that they can deduct from the pay. On top of that they want to lie to me about when I will be paid? No thank you.
