Notaries can now indicate not only their language skills, but if they have experience visiting hospitals and jails for notary services. Just do your search, and then use the search filters to find a Spanish speaking notary, or one who has expertise in visiting hospitals, or someone who excels at jail notarizations. Remember, that current, government issued photo identification is required in most states to be notarized. Historically, California, Florida, and New York had the monopoly on multilingual notaries, but now, you can find notaries speaking any language from Arabic to Spanish to Zulu all over the country.
