Notarize

Phonetics: no·ta·rize    \'no-tə-rīz\

Function: verb

To notarize a signature or document simply means to perform a notary act upon that signature or document. The most common notary acts include Acknowledgments and Jurats. If a notary is going to notarize a signature, they would most likely use one of those two procedures. However, notaries can also perform Oaths, Affirmations, Protests, and in some states do Attestations, serve as an official witness, and more. 123notary caters to mobile notaries, so our notaries typically will get in their car, and drive to a borrower's home, an office building, hospital, or even jail to notarize documents. An experienced notary will have the chance to notarize many types of documents including immigration, loan documents, business agreements, powers of attorney, affidavits, Grant Deeds, and more.
