If signing agents adopted this model, it would work. There would be no other way.

Good luck with that Dan. When they call trying to get an order assigned, they don't have time to review "agreements" - they see that and they'll just move on to the next notary. The closest you *may* be able to get is to send a confirmation email containing your terms and requesting a confirming reply with a little note that "lack of a reply with be construed as acceptance of these terms".

JMO and good luck.

FAMS is within the First American family --which includes FASS (First American Signature Services). If you're new to signings, this company will give you a baptism by fire--- and it will burn! They have a -0- tolerance policy regarding their rules.

I've done over 200 signings for them, but they are definitely NOT one of my favorites. They used to be one of my preferred clients--no longer. The truth is FASS does not care one iota about you as the NSA.

If you negotiate for a higher fee--be advised that they may assign an order to you but will keep shopping to see if another NSA will take the assignment for a lower fee--and then will cancel on you.

They will be the rudest and cheapest company you will ever work for and they don't pay cancellation fees due to their error.
