One more piece of info for you - you need your TPL (Title Producer's License) in Indiana.

Check with your state on that before you go any farther.

Good Luck

Take the loan signing certification course offered here...or..

Contact Carol Ray at Notary2Pro - she also has a well-recognized certification program.

If you have NO experience at all with loans and mortgage documents, you need to learn that part of the business. It will cost you but you can't go wrong - education is never wrong.

Something I thought of AFTER posting - you post doesn't indicate where you are. Make sure you're in a state that does not prohibit notaries from doing signings. GA, MA, DE, W. VA., SC are attorney-only states - some more strict than others. Some require that an attorney conduct the signing, some just require attorney supervision. Also, I believe NC is leaning that way but has not passed the bill yet.

Good Luck.
