I do not think we word BEWARE was fair to NVS. Even though they have the one client - I have found that they have definitely confirmed with the borrower. I do not like not having spoke with borrower beforehand but this is the only thing I have that is even close to negative about NVS. I have done quite a few signings for them and they are easy to deal with and pay within 30 days.

NVS has one lender that does not allow prior contact - however, I've always obtained a phone number for the lender, spoken with them, and been allowed to contact the borrower once they've reviewed the HUD with them. I let them know that's fine with me as long as they understand that no printing will occur or travel done until I've made that call. And if they don't do it with enough time for me to print and travel, the signing time will change.

On the few assignments I've taken from them, I've had a good understanding with them and they with me and it's worked well.

Now, as to the reason for this? They told me too many notaries gave too much info and/or too much bad info during the confirmation call with the borrower and killed too many deals on the phone.

The purpose of being trained to give professional, knowledge information to help your business grow and be successful. National Vendors Solution(Mortgage Investor, Matthew) does not feel this way. He feels we as notaries should not contact the borrower and let them we are coming out to conduct there refinance. He feels that is unprofessional to contact the borrower so they can be aware of who is coming to there home as well as there name and so far. I would suggest this company to any because in this day and time you have be safe and inform people that you are coming to there homes do not go to anyone home unannouced.
