I received a call to close on a loan for Transtar. I received the call early the morning of the day of closing. At 4:30 that afternoon I still did not have documents. The closing was 30 minutes away from my office and scheduled to be at 5:30. I called the Borrower, who did not want to wait past 5:30, to tell him that I had not received the documents to print. He said he wanted to wait until Friday to do the closing so I told him to call his loan officer. The closing was rescheduled to Friday morning. I waited all day today (Thursday) for the documents. When I sent an email to inquire about the delivery of the documents to the Transtar Supervisor, she was very rude and sent back a smart answer. When I tried to reply in a courteous manner, she was even more discourteous. So, I told her that she could find another Notary for the job. It was the worst experience I have had in all my years of being a Notary. I just wanted to let others know in advance.
