I am in the same boat as everyone else here!! I did 2 (not just 1) very last minute sigings for someone who I was told named "Donna" (not Dawn) and that was in the first week of November and I am still trying like crazy to get paid for it. I have not found a way to contact and the last email I got, only after threatening to take legal action, was that they are a highly recognized company that has been hiring notaries for 9 years and I was "Guaranteed" payment. NOTHING!!! Mind you, that was after invoicing for the 5th time! Can someone please give a phone number that gets answered? Thank you

She told me her name was Dawn (not Donna). She owes me for three signings and I get no response from phone messages, e-mails, faxes.

She is another thief Just like Executive Signing Agents. I don't think these "ladies" are even Certified Signing Notaries themselves.
I resent the encouragement for people to get a notary license and a DBA name and solicit business from well qualified, hard working notaries, collecting good fees from the title company and then not paying for the actual work that was completed on their behalf!!!
I contacted the Title Co and was told they no longer use DMN. Unfortunately, it looks too late for me.

It is now the last day of February and I have not received any payment from DMN. I spoke to Donna Nelson who said she was the owner and was in the process of 'cleaning up' past payments. She said she would call me on Tuesday, 2/17 to let me know when to expect payment. On Wednesday, 2/18 I called her again and she answered the phone. She said 'Oh, I got busy and didn't call you but your payment has been mailed. I saw your name on the list'. Today is 2/28 and I have not received anything from DMN. I called yesterday and no answer. I left a voice message on the machine. I called the title office to make them aware that DMN has not paid me and for them to be aware that DMN may not be paying other notaries too. One of the managers said he would check into it. WHAT DO I DO NEXT??

BEWARE!!!!!!!
Received a call. Can give me a lot of work. I told Shawn "The notary boards are not very kind to you" I am not thinking I want to play ball with a deadbeat."That was in the past. I had some problems. They are all resolved. I am running ahead of my payments. I assure you there will be no problem." Shame on me for having a soft heart. One day it will get the better of me. I am now trying to collect payment. Emails unanswered, phone goes to voicemail. I should have listened to my gut. I am going to contact the lender on these to be sure they are aware she does not pay her bills. Do not listen to her sob stories, you will regret it.
