5TH Update 4/12/2013
Jessica just emailed me stating that her company will not re-issue payment unless I mail the unsigned check back to them first, in which I responded:

1) Why should I pay in the form of postage for YOUR error?
2) I will be using said check in my case against your company shall this issue end up in small claims.

They must think I was born yesterday, but then again they're a company that can't fill out a check properly so perhaps it's just run by idiots.

At any point this is looking like its going to court in which case I should no longer publically comment on it. That said I think I painted a pretty clear picture the type of company this is.

I recently discovered this company is actually called American Mortgage Capital and is located in Santa Monica, CA. When I called the company regarding the Issue I was immediately hung up on.

3RD UPDATE 4/11/2013
It's been another week and no payment. It does not take a week to reissue a payment. This company is a complete con and will not pay your for your service. Avoid it and Jessica at all costs. (323)345-4296, (310) 496-4225 and(213)503-2458 are their contact numbers and I suggest you block them. I will be filling with small claims at the end of the week.

2ND UPDATE 4/4/2013
AMC forgot to authorized the check and considering it was filled out by hand I can only assume this was either done purposely or AMC has no idea how to properly fill out a check. Either way these delays are becoming ridiculous. I have emailed Jessica regarding the issue requesting a properly filled out check is sent immediately. Now I have to play the guessing game again as AMC doesn't feel it is necessary to reply to important emails.

UPDATE

Received Payment. I had no idea whether this company was going to pay me or not because they couldn't be bother to simply send me a one sentence confirmation regarding payment of my printing costs.

Why they would rather leave a notary in the dark to assume they won't be paid and risk negative reviews than confirm payment and possibly receive a positive review is beyond me.

So I would have to say overall AMC will pay you if there is a cancellation but you'll have no idea when that will be and good luck trying to find that out.

AVOID - NO PAYMENT!!!

Avoid doing business with Jessica from American Mortgage Closers (AMC). She gave me the go ahead to print out documents for a signing despite being able to confirm the appointment with the signers. Well of course the signers end up cancelling. At this point she requested I hold on to the docs while they try to reschedule. Waited a week never heard back from her. Shredded the docs to protect the signers privacy and told her I would be charging a $25.00 print fee. Now she won't respond to my emails regarding payment and when I called her she claims to have never received them and then gives me a different email which she never responds to also.
