Won't happen twice :)

It appears that the late fee was taken in reverse! They deducted 35$ for being able to pay you "late". When in doubt PayPal is not a "choice" for them to make - it is a requirement you impose. When I have doubts it's PayPal prior to any printing or travel. That payment is also required within 15 minutes of the booking call - so as to not leave my schedule "up in the air". It seems to me that you allowed them to set your payment policy.....

I explained to them right at the beginning that I expect payment "at the time of signing" thru PayPAL OR if they want the luxury of CREDIT FROM ME they have 30 days before a late fee of $35.00 is applied.

I accepted an assignment in Oct for a fee of $100 for a debt consolidation. The fee was approved by them. I waited 6 weeks for payment, only to receive $65.00 I explained to them right at the beginning that I expect payment "at the time of signing" thru PayPAL OR if they want the luxury of CREDIT FROM ME they have 30 days before a late fee of $35.00 is applied. I feel a late fee is very fair, considering how many times I have been burnt by companies going out of business and any credit that I HAVE charges me for late payments. I'll keep you posted if they hold up their end of the deal and pay the agreed amount.

I did a signing for them and they never paid me. Peggy is very argumentative. She talks down to you. I will never work for her again.

I just did a signing for them on 1/24/13 and received payment in less than 30 days.

Peggy Cruz was very pleasant to work with.

I had to email status of signing and fax over some documents; no jumping through hoops like some companies.

I would definitely work with them again!!

They are out of Miami, FL and their website is: xpnotaryclosings.com
