This is a tactical issue guys... This was before my days a mobile notary when I was a bank courier. I drove from Boston to Providence once or twice a day to deliver checks. There was a day when it rained and rained... Providence was really flooded. I had my drop in North Providence.
So, I got to the bank, but the parking lot had a long roadway going past the side of their building. I had to drive to the back to drop my 12 big bags with packages of checks. There was a huge flood on the driveway. I saw that the vehicle ahead of me got through it, so I decided to chance it. I was in a pick up truck which is easier to get through floods in than a car. So, I went slow, but not too slow.
If you go too slow through a flood, you could get stuck. If you go too fast, you will splash and create a mess.
I got through the flood, and went to deposit checks... There was a delay, and it kept raining. Half an hour later, I was ready to go. But, they told me that the driveway was too flooded and that I wouldn't make it.
So, I was stuck... in North Providence.
After a while, it stopped raining, and then the water drained a bit in the flooded area. I made it out of there.... somehow...
Has anyone gotten stuck in a flood?
