Linda,
I mentioned below, depending on location....And sometimes they do arrive fed-ex, so printing would not be an issue.

I am never at any appointment for longer than 1hour tops, and if its closer to the 1hour mark, its because something was not right, and a phone call had to be made. The company I do the majority of my reverse apps for informs the borrower to the max, so theres no need for additional explaining. I pick out the most important part to them once I am there, and that is about it.

I do however limit them to the city i live in, for the fee I listed.

Well all the reverse mortgage apps I have done are always printed for me. They arrive via Fedex so printing is not the issue. It's the time factor. Working with those 60 plus usually takes longer because they are so concerned about what they are getting into and it takes a lot of explaining.

I disagree...I don't care where you are - printing 40-50 pages and sitting at the table for 1.5-2 hours, travel to the signing, to the courier then back, collecting all documentation required plus use of any portable copy equipment you bring is worth more than $50 ....

I don't know about you but there's no way I could do those for $50..

I've had these appointments take upwards of 1.5-2 hours, depending on the borrower....can't recall that they've EVER had the documents ready for me that I needed to pick up and most times I've ended up waiting for them to find the requested documentation.

Let's see - 40-50 pages of printing, travel (which for me in my area is always a major factor), time at the table AND use of my portable equipment to make copies.....$90-$100 minimum and I limit them to my own home county.

I have been working for Integrity doing these and depending on distance get anywhere for $75 to $100. (We can't close in SC but we can do the apps)But we all know that even though theses are apps you put in just as much work as if you did the closing except no printing. ANother company is wanting me to do them but only wanting to pay $50. The application is just as long and will take just as long. What's your feedback on what YOU are getting paid on these?
Thanks,

Melanie
