I kind of thought that. But, like most on this site, I won't do signings where the fee is too low.
Now, when we say to a signing company that "this is my fee, take it or leave it" (not quite those words) are we shutting ourselves out of jobs and limiting who we work for? In other words, will this kind of response backfire in the long run (or even short run)?

This applies to any company that calls - when they tell you that they will have to "get your fee approved", they are really continuing to call the next notaries on the list until they find one that will accept the fee they are offering. If they can't find anyone, they may call you back with your "approved" fee. I rarely get a call back with my fee approved.

This is my first post to the forum, but I have been reading everyone's interesting and helpful comments.
My question:
Does anyone have any experience with Vipclose.com?
They called me again today to do a signing. The woman I spoke to said that they pay $75 and I told her what my fee is and she said she would have to check with the title company to see if that was ok. Still waiting to hear back from her.
Any thoughts would be helpfull.
Thanks,
Aviva
