Have you sent a collection letter by certified mail? Carmen has a great letter that you can access on this forum. Receiving a letter by certified mail can be more effective then getting another e-mail or fax. Plus, it's a record of your collection attempt should you decide to use a collection agency or file a small claim against the company.

I did a signing for Jennifer as well on February 24, 2009 and have yet to get paid. I e-mailed her my invoice at her request and now she want return my calls or e-mails. I am still trying to get paid if you have any luck please let me know. I also e-mailed Franklin Financial who I did the signing for and the e-mail address came back as undelieverable.

I did a singing for Streamline Signings on January 22,2009. I am usually pretty careful about taking on a new client but for some reason I decided to do the work (it must have been her demeaner). I called Jennifer after 30 days and reminded her of her obligation. She called back and stated that she was on vacation and to email the invoice to her for payment. I did that. I followed up with another call to her answer phone 2 weeks later and never received a call back. Again I invoiced them. On April 23 after I called her again with a not so nice phone call (I hate doing this). Jennifer called back. She stated that she could not pay me because she never got paid from the company who hired her because they went out of business. I called the company who hired her and they no longer use Streamline Signings. They stated thate they have paid her. I have not reiceived payment and don't know if I ever will. I plan on writing a letter to let her know of my findings. I will keep you posted.
