Title Insurance Companies are regulated by the state insurance commissioner. Deadbeat TCs should be reported immediately to the state insurance commissioner. Since Genuine Title is located in Maryland, write to: http://www.mdinsurance.state.md.us/sa/jsp/consumer/FileComplaint.jsp

The State of Virginia and the State of Maryland have been notified of this company and their fraud they committed against me. Their investigators will begin this case soon.

First thank you all for sharing your comments. This is why this system works so well.

I no longer work with them directly but through another signing agent, who says they pay her on time. What happened was through our sharing of information they could no longer find anyone who would work for them. She addressed this with them and told them they would have no one working for them if they didn't get there act together. They took her advice and have since been paying on time.

May good fortune shine on all for the New Year!

They just called me and I had just read this forum this morning and remembered it being negative about them, so I declined. I said I was already booked, which is true. So glad we have this resource!

I have worked for them in the past and they were great, fast pay, easy to work with. Then I did a signing in Sept.08 for them figuring they would pay as in the past. They did pay me after a short while but stiffed me for 10 bucks. Even though I called many times, no call were returned nor did I recieve my money. From what people are saying here I should count myself lucky.

If it's Genuine Title, LLC operating out of Owings Mills MD They are a completely dishonest company in my book, and you are one of the lucky few that they have ever paid. Just say NO!

Just an F.Y.I. please note this company Genuine Title Company, LLC of Baltimore, MD, is extremely slow to pay. (Over 90 days) with threats.

I can't see why they should hold our money if we've done the work and they get paid 3 days after right of rec.

Always, ask upfront terms and I've taken to putting them on hold and checking here first.

Best of Luck!

Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous Holidays to All.
