We are doing something about them. You need to contact the Wisconsin Department of Consumer Protection ... Elizabeth Howard, Consumer Specialist at 414-266-1231 Reference File 500902 and report your dealings with LIA. Also, go to the Illinois Attorney General's Office and file a complaint there. The more notaries that file a complaint, the better the chance that we have that something is done about them.

I did a signing for LIA seems like they are taking advantage of notaries. Something needs to be done about this. my signing was on May 23,2008 followed-up to check on payment, was told they pay in 45 days, although they get paid four days after the signing. Haven't received payment, now I cannot get anyone to answer the phone when I call. Reported this company to LSI, no comment nor did I receive a return call after complaining.
