I have done several closings for Closing Quest.
They are everything everyone says they are.
August 1, 2007, they were saying they paid every 30 days.
I did not receive that payment until Jan. 2008.
Didn't close any loans for them either during that time they owed me money.
The first loan I closed for them after receiving payment for that August 2007 loan was the end of January 2008.
I called them the end of February.
They told me they'd lost the person that does their invoicing and were behind.
In March 2008, I was told they were working on the end of December 2007. So I gave it another 2 weeks. Still no check.
They gave me a hard time when I called them.
I got the payment for January the middle of April 2008.
Now they say they do not pay for 60 days.
Chasing money is not a good use of time, especially when you aren't being paid enough in the first place.

I did 2 RESPA signings for them back in 2007 and it took 4 months to get paid on the last one. I had to chase down that one with numerous calls, letters, faxes & emails. They called me a few months ago asking if I was available to close one for them. I responded with a laugh and told them to remove me from their call list since they had such a sloppy payment history...not worth my time.

Closing Quest, has anyone done business with them? I have done quite a few but in 2007 they started getting lazy about paying. The first time it was 60 days. I thought it was just a mishap but the second time it took them 5 months to pay me. I contacted them several times and spoke to their payrol person who never answers the phone. I did a signing in Jan 2008 and got my check May 2008 after many phone calls and emails.
