I turned down 12 signings between 12/21 and 12/23....I'll keep this in mind for Dec 2007....things have been steady since but I am noticing that Thursday evenings seem to be the one I get the most calls for - I ususally do two and have to turn down several more then sit on my hands on Friday evening...strange.

I was extremely busy from December 13-23,2006. Has slowed down for now but my contact told me today that is should pick up the last two weeks of January.

I failed to ask how things are going for you all this summer. June/July/August. I've got next to nothing and am having to look elsewhere for work, until things pick up.

I was having get togethers at my home around Christmas. I had about 25 people in my home and was asked to do a signing at 8pm at night. Of course, I refused.

Then, I got a request on Christmas Eve. By then, I was angry! To work is good but holidays are for family and friends. Noone likes a Scrooge!

Lenders want to meet their quota by months end. You might tend to get a lot of email signings at the end of the month.

I was very busy the last 2 weeks in December. January was dead. February, things began to pick up and I was quite busy, especially the last 2 weeks. March seems to be getting off to a real good start. Do the rest of you find that most of the activity for every month seems to happen in the last 2 weeks of the month?

I find that January and February are very slow. Business picks up quite a bit after that.
