Why have you not reported this Title Insurance Company to the state insurance commissioner for "theft of services" and "financial irresponsibility"??? This should have commenced on the 61st day of non-payment.

Update:

Received check today - dated 1/31/2008 - sent via UPS on Monday, 2/11/2008. 73 days to send it out and 76 days for me to get paid....Now let's hope it clears.

Hate to do this but this is a TITLE company that won't pay...did a refi for them 11/27/2007 - followed up with them at the 31 day mark then weekly after that - Wendy (who handles invoices) telling me she has no idea what happened and why I wasn't paid. On 1/14/07 she told me my check was going out that weekend - on 2/1/07 I called her and told her I stll didn't have a check - at that time she told me she was going to put a stop payment on the check and re-issue payment and UPS it to me...

Here we are today - no payment - just got off the phone with her (at least she answers her telephone) - now telling me the person who cuts the checks has been out for sick for the last 3 days and as soon as he comes back in it will be taken care of. How many more excuses can there be?? Told her one week or I start suit. AAARRRGGGHHH....
