TX Notary Public Mobile Fee Information
Texas law requires state officers (notaries public qualify for this designation) to bill clients for all expenses. Therefore it is recommended for notaries to prepare detailed bills for any services they perform as a notary public. Please discuss all fees with the signers before performing any notarial act to deter disagreements after the fact. Always provide a written and itemized receipt for fees billed, completely itemizing any non-notary business fees such as travel fees & waiting time, as well as expenses relating to particular notary fees.

Other Information
The primary duty of a Notary is to show that they have duly notified the signer of an instrument as to the importance of that document. Additionally, the signer should claim that their identity, signature, and purpose for signing such instrument are all genuine. The signature and stamp (seal) of a notary public do not prove the genuineness of a signature, but do provide prima facie proof of them. This allows individuals in commerce and in the justice system to rely upon the reliability of the Notary Public as a third party who has no personal or beneficial interest in the transaction.
