Tip: Husband & wife, different hours, different counties

If you are signing Jack Smith in Los Angeles county at 1pm, and June Smith in Orange county at 2pm, how do you handle the paperwork? If the same notary is notarizing both husband and wife on the same date, the notary can use ONE acknowledgment form. The journal entries will have the same date, but different hour. That is okay. So, what COUNTY do you use in the venue of the certificate? Just write, "Los Angeles and Orange". You might add some documentation wording explaining that the husband signed in Los Angeles, and the wife signed in Orange County -- on the same day. What a lot of driving.
