Zip search results show all notaries in a radius of the zip code searched for. Widths of radiuses vary depending on how populated the area is. Manhattan has a very short radius, while Montana generally has large radiuses. Notaries are listed in order of their p#. The higher the p#, the higher their placement is in the search results. Notaries pay hefty prices for top placements, and they get the bulk of the business. However, we always welcome free listings - although they are placed near the bottom of the search results.
