Borrowers and signing companies always prefer a well dressed notary. Although technical skills are the most important in the notary business, presentation is the icing on the cake that can win over many clients. Your clothes make much more of a statement than you think with more people as you think. Remember, its not how you feel, but how you look -- and its not who you are on the inside, but what you are wearing that really matters... at least to the signing companies. And how you keep your hair is very important too. Remember, no shorts, no sandals, tidy hair, smell good, leather shoes, business casual or business formal is okay.
