I hired this notary to do a signing for me today. Apparently, he scheduled another signing just 1 hour after mine was to start and just cancelled on me at the last minute when he found out there were 4 signors instead of 2. Very unprofessional!

Notary's responses:
The changes that occurred to this signing were known by the title company at least one day in advance. I only received notice of the signing changing from 2 signers to 4 signers with 16 notarizations by the documents and confirming with the BO that the changes had been initiated by the lender 2 days before. I had already set up my schedule for the evening allowing for an hour for this appointment, more than enough time to close a standard loan with 2 signers. The lender and the title company failed to communicate these changes to the signing service and to me. Then the hour she refers to is the time I allotted to her closing so that I could travel to the next. Unforeseen developments at the table that keep me more than an hour are one thing that I would accommodate, uncommunicated changes that were known of in advance by the title co and lender and not communicated are another. I could not reschedule the of my night’s appointments at the last minute to accommodate changes that should have been communicated in advance.

Neutral reviews
If a notary got the job done but made a small mistake, that counts as a neutral review. Please politely say it like it is.

Negative reviews
123notary.com protects all of its notaries from slander and unfair reviews since a bad review could effect their business.. If you had a bad experience with a notary, please express all pertinent facts clearly and politely in writing giving a clear description as to who all the parties are to the transaction; and what the notary did wrong. Our staff will do a two stage screening process for all negative reviews before posting. Step one - if there is any doubt about the review, we would contact the writer of the negative review by email, phone, or both, to make absolutely sure that the negative information is really true. Step two is to also give the notary a chance to write a rebuttle before deciding whether or not to post a negative review.
