I used her services today. She was very nice. She works out of her home in West Haven and very convienent, right off of Campbell ave. Best of all her price was lower than the other Notary Publics I contacted. I do recomend her highly.

I am a real estate attorney in New Canaan, CT that works with several multi-state title & escrow companies. It is crucial in my business to have hard-working, competent, and professional notaries to close my loans, and I can safely say Maria fits that bill. Most closings go routinely, but there are times when documents are running late, or the borrower might have an issue at closing... with some closers, these can turn into protracted discussions where the closer vents their frustrations on me, but Maria understands the nature of the business and rolls with things very well. I can rest easy when she is closing my loans, as she maintains communication with me throughout the closing. Some of my loans have post-closing instructions that must be followed, and Maria is able to make any requested copies or scans without any problems. And perhaps most importantly, the documents are always executed correctly; I've never had an issue with any of the documents she has notarized, something I cannot say for every notary I've used. So if you are looking for a good notary to close your loan in Southern Connecticut, I can enthusiastically recommend Maria Bakies.

Positive reviews
Please feel free to give any of our notaries a positive review at any time if they did a good job

Neutral reviews
If a notary got the job done but made a small mistake, that counts as a neutral review. Please politely say it like it is.

Negative reviews
123notary.com protects all of its notaries from slander and unfair reviews since a bad review could effect their business.. If you had a bad experience with a notary, please express all pertinent facts clearly and politely in writing giving a clear description as to who all the parties are to the transaction; and what the notary did wrong. Our staff will do a two stage screening process for all negative reviews before posting. Step one - if there is any doubt about the review, we would contact the writer of the negative review by email, phone, or both, to make absolutely sure that the negative information is really true. Step two is to also give the notary a chance to write a rebuttle before deciding whether or not to post a negative review.
