MN Other Information of Interest Minnesota is unusual in that notary renewals must be done between December 01st, and January 31st of each year. Another interesting piece of information is that a notary can notify a change of their address simply by logging in to the secretary of state's website. The most interesting feature of Minnesota is that a notary can print their notary commission online. Here are the state's official words about that: "Your new, updated or duplicate commission certificate can be printed online. Heavy grade paper is recommended. Note: There will be a slight delay in printing the certificate."
