Terminate

Function: Verb

The state notary division where the notary is comissioned has the right to terminate the individual's notary commission should there be any misconduct on the part of the notary.

Definition 1:
To end or stop something. A notary commission can terminate on a specific date or be terminated due to misconduct on the part of the notary.

Definition 2:
A notary commission could terminate if the notary moves out of state.
