Notary Seal

An inked seal or embosser which is affixed on the notary certificate wording of a document or certificate to indicate that the signature(s) on the document have been notarized.

Please note that a notary seal should be maintained properly so that it leaves a clear impression each time it is used. Overly inked seals may appear smudgy. Notary seals that have not been maintained for a long time might have an impression that is too light which means it needs some ink added.
