I only did one for Speedy, and it was a couple years ago, but they paid me that night, through PayPal, and they paid me well. I guess I was just lucky,

Stewart Title, 8201 Preston Rd, Dallas, TX 75225

Had a great experience with this company -- great communication, pay well and within 10 days. Would love to work for them again.

Just to reply to this list:
Hatton & Associates pay on time but they pay real low. $50 overnight and $75 edocs. This is as of July 9, 2008...IMO real low.

Can I add to the "great companies" list?

Central Signing Service -- Great company. Very professional, never late on payment, thorough communication. They have a website to update status on signings.

Finish Line Signing Services -- Echo the same as above for Steve Williams and his crew. Had one glitch with payment that was resolved immediately with no hassle. Thought that important to mention because if there *is* ever a payment issue, most will hmmm and hawww about it. Not them.

PC Mobile Notary -- Todd Ballou (sp?). Really nice guy. I'd work out of normal area for him if need be.

At Your Door Notary (AYDN) -- Only done one signing with them, but Tony Ramirez is the epitome of integrity and looks after his notaries. Not a good enough word to describe him.

Eleventh Hour Signings -This company has gotten a bad rap on many bulletin boards due to payment issues. But she went to the trouble to go into in-depth explanation about accounting/bookkeeping problems that would have made the less-resilient person quit altogether. She's got a ton of experience in real estate field and has many contacts which has led her business to prosper -- just needs an accounting firm that can keep up with the flourishing. I'd work for her anytime.

Janet, don't apologize for listing any of the same companies. We definitely want to hear experiences from multiple NSA's. The more good comments I hear about a SS or TC....Lets just say, they get to move up a rung on my 'Ladder of Merit'.

Also, if anyone has posted a complaint of non-payment in the past, it would be nice to hear if you ever resolved the issue, what kind of hassle you experienced, and if you had to resort to a 3rd party (collection agency, lawyer, hitman, etc.) Because, even if it was a situation of misunderstanding or oversight (could happen; couldn't it?) it would be good to share how the company resolved it and how long it took.
